Outreach
The HHDC Outreach Committee is responsible for any initiatives that involve coordinating with organizations outside of the club to facilitate knowledge sharing, and to help support others to feel more comfortable with ideas/skillsets that we learn through debate!
Past examples have included organising debating seminars for public high schools, show debates with U of T clubs, and hosting debates with senior home organisations.

If you are a high school, speech, public policy, or dialogue-related representative, be sure to use our outreach form to discuss potential outreach campaigns with the Hart House Debating Club!
In the past, we’ve worked with policy institutions like the Institute for Liberal Studies, the Canadian Politics Show Debate and Panel, Toronto Community Housing, student organisations like the U of T AI and Public Speaking Clubs, alongside various Greater Toronto Area high schools.
